Despite the ongoing disputes between Egyptian actress Ghada Abd Al Raziq and director Khaled Yousif, the actress made it a point to attend the premier screening of her latest film “Kaf Al Qamar” (The Moon’s palm), which is directed by Khaled. During the premier, Ghad deliberately avoided Khaled and any casual conversations with him.
The film was screened at the 27th annual Alexandria International Film Festival, which is the first festival to be held in Egypt after the January 25 Revolution. Ghada attended the event accompanied by four personal body guards.
According to the London based Elaph, Ghada made it a point to not take any memorable pictures with Khaled, but was forced to take a group photo with the entire cast and crew of the film on stage. While the film was being shown, Ghada sat next to Syrian actress Jumana Murad and Egyptian actor Sabri Fawaz. Egyptian actress Wafa Amer, who also took part in the film, was absent from the screening due to preoccupation with filming the scenes for her new television drama.
