Haifa mocks kidnapping rumor

Lebanese singer Haifa Wehbe [1] ridiculed recent rumors that she was kidnapped by an armed group of men.

Haifa sarcastically wrote on her official page on the internet social network Twitter, “Breaking News: artist Haifa Wehbe was kidnapped by a group of armed men while entering a social event in Cairo…Really?!”

On a different note, Haifa is currently filming the scenes [2] of her upcoming Egyptian television drama “Mawlid wa Sahbo Ghayeb [3]” alongside Egyptian belly dancer Fifi Abdo and actor Ahmad Khalil.

The drama is written by Mustafa Muharam, directed by Sherine Adel and produced by Mohammad Fawzi.
