Lebanese singer Haifa Wahbi will take part in a new Reality TV series called “The Ranch,” which will begin airing Friday evenings on the Lebanese Broadcasting Company (LBC) this month.
The reality: A small house on a ranch, where a number of artists from around the Arab world will reside, under conditions meant to test their skills for survival.
Haifa has been assigned as the ‘head of the household’ and must manage the minimum resources she and the rest of the participants are given to try and survive.
With no cellular phones, make-up artists, or limousines, it is sure to be survival of the fittest.
Haifa will eliminate the weakest contestant from “The Ranch” every episode.
The show will last for 10 weeks, if the artists survive that long.
According to the London based daily, Alsharq Al Awsat, the participants will be faced with numerous challenges, including milking cows, feeding chickens, and tending the other animals on the ranch.
The program mirrors a successful French reality TV program, which drew viewers throughout Europe.
The singer will not be holding any performances until her life on the ranch is over.
