Young Egyptian actress Hala Shiha has denied circulating rumors that she is having an affair with soccer play Emad Mit’eb, and was socked by how rapidly the rumor is spreading and by the colorful lies that are being created.
“I do not understand how tabloids can create such nonsense about me and someone that I have never met,” Hala mused.
Emad Mit’eb is a well known member of the Egyptian soccer team Al Ahli.
Hala condemned Emad for not admitting the rumor is a lie, and stated that he did not deny the rumor since he was happy to receive the negative publicity.
The actress also stated that she will contact the Ahli Club, to which Emad belongs, and demand that they make him publicly deny the rumor and apologize to her.
Hala has promised to file a lawsuit against an Egyptian newspaper and journalist who published slanderous lies about her and Emad. The journalist wrote an article stating that Hala had an intimate affair with Emad, and that the Ahli Club had offered to buy her a new car in an attempt to persuade her to leave Emad.
According to the London based weekly, Laha, Hala stressed that she will put an end to all these rumors by announcing that she is in fact in a very serious relationship with another person.
