Ooh, what were Egyptian singer Khaled Selim and Kuwaiti media personality Halima Poland doing in Beirut together?
The pair were on a business trip in the picturesque capital where they hit up the recording studio as Khaled lent his voice to Halima's upcoming TV series "Al Hub Sultan" (Love is Greatest).
The singer was luckily chosen to sing the theme tune of Halima's Gulf drama, which marks her first ever acting experience.
The theme song was written by Abdel Latif Al Sheikh, composed by Abdullah Al Qu’ud and distributed by Rabi Al Saydawi.
According to Sayidaty.net, Gulf actors Zahra Al Kharji, Nisreen Surori, Abdel Muhsim Al Nimr and Zahra Arafat are some of the actors starring alongside Halima in "Love is Greatest."
But Halima has already been offered a second acting role in the Egyptian drama "Al Mawqif" (The Incident), after being nominated for the part by actress Afaf Shuaib.
According to Sayidaty.net, the plot of the drama comes from a novel written by young author Sameh Al shaji. Director Amro Abdeen has taken hold the story and will direct it into life.
This exciting announcement comes on the heels of a press release from Syrian actress Jumana Murad withdrawing from the drama. It was speculated that Halima was nominated to replace the newlywed star and will play the character that was previously offered to Jumana.
