Director Ahmed Al Saba’awi is gearing up to shoot the new series Al Ea’sar (Hurricane) costarring Mahmoud Yasin, Nabil Al Hilfawi, Fadia Abdel Ghani, Ismael Mahmoud and Shireen Saif Al Naser.
The film, which was scripted by Salameh Hammoudeh, will be produced by the Media Production City, according to the Egyptian daily Al Gomhuria.
Saba’awi has wrapped up shooting his film Habibati Hayya Naoud (Love, Let’s Go Back) scripted by Sayyed Masoud, costarring Mustafa Shaaban, Gamil Rateb and Ghada Adel and also produced by the Media Production City.
Saba’awi also has a film entitled Ashghal Shaqqa (Hard Works) that has not yet been screened. The film was based on a story written by Mohammed Abbas Mansour, and was scripted by Faisal Nada.
The film is about police efforts to counter crime. Maged Al Masri and Abdo Al Wazir play two police officers alongside Sami Al Adel, who plays a Mafia godfather. Actress Athar Al Hakim appears as an artist who supports the police and their crimefighting efforts - Albawaba.com
