Majed al Masri snubs Ghada Abdel Raziq

The Egyptian actor turns down the chance to work with the acting beauty in favor of a project with man-of-the-moment, Tamer Hosny

Majed al Masri [2] found himself with so many work offers this last week that he had to turn down the beauty and fame of Ghada Abdel Raziq [3] in favor of the even hotter star: Tamer Hosny.

It is quite the snub for Ghada [4], who had expected to work with Majed on the next season of TV drama 'Ma Sibiq al Israr' (With Prior Insistency.) The pair co-starred in the soap last Ramadan and the show was a success across the Arab world. Majed justified shunning his old co-star by saying he is in the market for something new but according to Sayidaty.net, he was already in talks with man-of-the-moment, Tamer Hosny on a different project altogether before the snub happened.

Since his whirlwind marriage last month, Tamer's name has barely been out of the headlines [5] and Majed found himself unable to refuse after the star put in a personal call to offer him a role on his new show. Tamer is something of a taskmaster and won't allow any of his actors to double-up on projects. Rumor has it that Majed was forced out of his previous show by the singing star.
