Mariam Fares’s Kuwait concert a disaster

Lebanese singer Mariam Fares appeared in a new and striking
look that surprised her fans in Kuwait on New Year’s Eve, where she held a
performance alongside prominent Iraqi singer Majed Al Muhandis and Qatari
singer Fahed Al Kibaysi.

During the concert, Mariam wore a revealing white gown that
was admired by the audience specifically the males. Mariam did not perform any
dance moves after she was asked not to by the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information.

According to the internet website MBC.net, the event was not
considered a successful one with regards to the number of people present. It was
evident that people had refrained from attending entertaining events due to the
unstable political conditions in Kuwait and around the Arab world.

In addition to the lack of expected audience, the sound
system at the concert experienced technical difficulties causing annoyance to
the audience and singers.

It is said that the concert hall where the singers performed
was more than half empty.
