Not exactly shy of a bit of publicity, Iraqi songstress, Mariam Hussein, has recently got herself in hot water over allegations that legendary Saudi crooner, Mohammad Abdo, proposed to her .
According to the Iraqi beauty, she turned down the potential engagement but there were red faces all round when the Saudi songster put out a statement saying he'd never even heard of her !
Now Mariam is looking to piggyback on the biggest YouTube hit ever , 'Gangnam Style' by releasing her own version. Fearful that her face might be out of the papers, the songstress is releasing new single 'Kalima Murakaba', in honor of the South Korean song.
Not only will the sound take on the same Korean style but Mariam also revealed to Middle East news portal, Elaph, this week that she will be hiring models from South Korea too to stock up her music video.
The Iraqi star will also be going for her own 'Asian look' in the clip. Let's hope the footage doesn't cross the line from hommage to racist.
