Lebanese singer Melhem Barakat has finally been convinced to make videos for three of his songs, despite repeatedly rejecting the whole concept as unappealing, according to the Kuwaiti daily Al Rai Al Aam.
Barakat has reportedly agreed to make videos for Zuhour Al Qamar (The Moon’s Appearance) and Wa La Teir Byishbahak (No Bird Looks Like You), written by Nizar Francis, and Erjaali (Come Back to Me), written and composed by Melhem Barakat.
He apparently hopes to distribute them to all the Arab satellite channels.
Barakat has recently returned from a tour of Canada, Venezuela and the US. He also recently participated in Beirut’s celebrations of Music Day, in which he sang two new songs at Sasin Square - Albawaba.com.
