The preparation for the “Balbak” music festival has started and the Lebanese artist Melhim Zain announced that he will be hosting “Balbak” nights this upcoming summer with the famous Lebanese artist Najwa Karam. Calls are made to make verify that the two artists will be presenting together.
According to the London daily Elaph, it is needless to say that the famous Lebanese musician Melhim Barakat had negotiated with the “Balbak” festival management two years ago to host the musical nights with Najwa Karam but he did not agree with the management on the salary because they thought he was asking for too much money.
On the other hand, Melhim Zain hosted a live concert in Abu Dhabi and he is getting ready to take part in other music festivals in Brazil, Venezuela and Syria.
Melhim Zain’s new album includes songs in the Lebanese, Tunisian and Khaliji “Gulf countries” dialects. Melhim promised to include songs in the Egyptian dialect on his next album. He also revealed that he is interested in singing in the Yemeni dialect, because in honor of his wife whom he wants to have as many kids from as possible.
