The young Egyptian actress Mina Fadali will appear wearing the HIjab (Muslim women’s head cover) in the new film “September 7th,” co-starting the Egyptian actress Ghada Abed Al Razaq. Mina’s role in the new film revolves around a young girl fighting to get her rightfully inheritance.
Mina’s last appearance on television was as Queen Farida, the wife of King Farouq of Egypt, last Ramadan in the drama series “King Farouq”.
The actress has denied all rumors that she is romantically involved with the young Egyptian superstar Tamer Husni, who she has known since she was 16-years old.
She said that she is engaged to another man.
She also denied rumors that she has begun wearing a Hijab in real life and wants to quit her acting career.
Mina also denied rumors that she turned down the starring role in the new film “Captain Hima” with Tamer Husni. She said that certian actors in the film did not want her to take part.
Mina will star in the new film “Academy” with Muhammad Atyeh, Rowaida Al Mahroqi, Edward and Shadi Shamel. The film is created by Ahmad Abeeh and directed by Ismail Farouq.
She has also filmed two other films, “Mafish Faydah” (It’s Useless) with Mustafa Qamar and “Dealer” with Ahmad Al Saqa.
Mina said that she received 30,000 Egyptian pounds for her role in the drama series “Qalb Imarah” (A Woman’s Heart). Her wardrobe for the series cost nearly 120,000 Egyptian pounds.
