The young Egyptian actress Mina Shalabi revealed that rumors about her being harassed in the streets are true. The young actress said that while she was walking in the streets of Cairo heading to the pharmacy to buy some medicine for her mother, she was attacked by a guy from Sudan who tried to kiss her.
At first she tried to kick him but he would not let her go, then she decided to scream so people who were walking can come for her help from the crazy guy.” Mina insisted on filing a police report at one of Cairo’s police departments to teach everyone who thinks of doing such horrific acts a lesson.
The young actress also revealed that she used to hear about this crazy guy who is known as “Mina Shalabi Stalker” from her neighbors and the security guards at her building. Mina stated that she never saw the crazy guy before this incident, yet when she was attacked she recalled seeing him at some of the private screenings of her films and the opening parties of her television drama series, but she did not know his identity at the time.
Mina also revealed that family members of the stalker are trying to contact her to make her drop the charges against him, but Mina refused to listen to them. Mina’s mother, retired actress Zizi Mustafa, also refused for her daughter to drop the case, because she can’t forget her daughter’s look when the incident happened. She had cried hard when she heard about what happened to her daughter, because this is the first time that she experiences such a horrific act.
