After two long years of dealing with the law, Egyptian actor Mohamed Saad has finally gotten his vengeance on a number of TV channels who were withholding his hard-earned cash.
The verdict? A victorious Saad emerges! He won the lawsuit in which the accused were sentenced to nine years in prison for not paying him the rest of his due business fees.
The incident occurred when Mohamed both produced and starred in the TV series “Shams Al Ansari.” He had sold the show to the aforementioned TV channels, but only received a downpayment and written 'duff' cheques for the remaining amount.
According to Laha Magazine, the livid actor vowed to sue the owners of each channel and to retrieve what was rightfully his. Mohamed said that he had tried to solve the issue peacefully but to no avail.
“After what's happened, I don't intend on attempting to produce any more projects; I don't want to get scammed again,” Saad said.
We don't blame you, Sir!
