Egyptian singer Mohammad Muneer has come to an agreement with Lebanese director Jocelyn Saab to have his biography and journey in the entertainment world made into a film. Muneer has stressed that he wants the new film to begin in his hometown Aswan, among his family and old friends.
The new film will hold the title “Al Mughanawaty”, and Muneer revealed that he chose Jocelyn due to the fact that he had worked with her before on the film “Dunia”, which has not been screened yet, and he admires and respects her work. Mohammad added that he will make copies of his film in English, French and German to be screened in different European countries where he held concerts in.
Muneer will also present his film as a gift to all local and satellite Arabic channels in order to have as many people as possible watch it. The singer stressed that he will place enormous efforts on the production of the film to make it meet the highest standards. Muneer had previously announced that he will never stop singing because he is not singing for a specific individual or power. He added that he sings for his fans that trust him and eagerly await for his musical albums. Muneer says that a song starts as a dream and the artist translate it into words and brings it to life. He started singing Nubian tunes and then evolved until he climbed up to the peak and began having many fans among cultured and high-class people.
