Lebanese director Rami Ayyash has chosen Egyptian young actress Muna Zaki to star in a new Lebanese production movie, according to Al Raya newspaper.
The movie, the name of which was not revealed, talks about the Arab unity and the solidarity among the young Arab generations. “The movie’s theme is excellent, and it conveys a great message to all the generations in the Arab World,” Zaki commented on the movie. But added that she totally refuses accepting the role she was offered to play. “I’m a married woman and the movie includes some scenes of hugging and kissing. I can’t accept these scenes and I didn’t reach an agreement with the director to delete them,” Zaki has explained.
On another side, Zaki has denied recent rumors that she and actress Sumaya Khashab have fought over Lux’s new campaign, and confirmed that they still hold respect and friendship for each other. Media has reported earlier that a conflict between the two stars appeared on the surface due to choosing Khashab to be Lux’s new look.
Zaki is currently enjoying a three-days vacation with husband Ahmed Hilmi in Lebanon and are expected to leave for the Maldives for another vacation after finishing shooting the last scenes of her upcoming Ramadan series “Juha al Masri” (The Egyptian Juha). – Albawaba.com
