Lebanese singer Najwa Karam has just completed shooting her latest music video for the song “Shu Jani” to be released as a single before the spring season, which is when her upcoming album is scheduled to be launched. The clip was directed by director Saeed Al Marouq.
According to the <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" />London based Elaph, the music video was to be released this month, but the assassination of Lebanese PM Rafiq Al Hariri has called for its postponement. The singer stressed that it would be insensitive of her to release the clip when everyone in Lebanon is in mourning over the loss of Al Hariri.
Najwa is also preparing to shoot two more new music videos from her upcoming album, which is scheduled for release this coming May. Recently, the Music Production Company Rotana has suggested to its newest added member renowned Saudi singer Mohamad Abdo the idea of singing a duet with Najwa. Mohammad has given his initial acceptance to the idea on the conditions that he looks over the words of the song, in addition to composing it. Abdo also requests to look over all other the details concerning the new project.
Najwa gave her acceptance to the proposal and agreed to all of Mohammad’s conditions without hesitation. Najwa stressed that she holds very high respect for Mohammad and his achievements as a singer, who has given so much to the music industry in the Arab world.
