During her last visit to Cairo, Lebanese singer Nelly Maqdasi met with a number of poets, composers and distributors to choose new Egyptian songs for her upcoming album that will be launched during Eid El Fitr.
According to the London daily Elaph, Nelly is working on different styles of singing unlike her previous albums, where she will have a variety of songs in her album like: Egyptian, Lebanese and Khaliji (Gulf) songs. Nelly already finished recording most of the song for her new album. She also chose a romantic song called “Ya’eesh El Hob” (Love Will Live On), where Ahmad Shata wrote the lyrics and composition was by Mahmoud Khayami and distribution by Karim Abed El Wahab.
Nilly chose a variety of songs to please her fans all over the Arab world. Nelly has announced that her latest album will be the last album that is produce by the music production company Rotana, yet officials at Rotana denied the news and stated it is not true.
