Young talent Nermin Al Faqi is gearing up to record three songs for her first album, making her the third Egyptian actress to take a stab at singing after similar attempts by Yusra and Pusy.
According to the London-based Arabic daily Al Sharq Al Awsat, Faqi’s album will be released during the upcoming Al Fitr Feast holiday.
“The three songs were written by Ahmed Shita, Bahaa Eddin Mohammed and Mustafa Kamel, and composed by Hassan Abul Saud. I have agreed with musician Ammar Al Sherea’i to compose two of the album’s songs, which were written for me by poet Jamal Bakhit,” Faqi told the daily.
The young actress said that the Music Association had given her permission to sing.
Faqi also revealed that she was negotiating with some executives from Al Medinah Lights Concerts to participates in this year’s concerts.
