The famous Egyptian actor Noor Al Sharif will return to “Al Jabri” Studios in Cairo next week to film his latest television drama series “Al Rahaya.” The series takes place in the village of Al-Ayosyeh in Sohaj in Egypt.
It is estimated that filming will continue until the beginning of July to have the series ready to be aired on “Abu Dhabi” and “Panorama Drama” channels, according to the director of the series Ahmad Al Jabri.
According to the London daily Elaph, the crew faced some difficulties while filming scenes on-location near the Nile River. Certain crew members fell into the River while filming. All were unharmed, but several cameras were ruined costing the production company close to 450,000 Egyptian pounds.
The new series also stars Sawsan Bader, Reem Al Barodi, Samira Abed Al Aziz and Lutfi Labib.
The cast and crew are scheduled to travel to Sharm Al Sheikh, Egypt in the near future to continue filming.
