Syrian actress Raghda is on a journey around different cities in Syria, where she is visiting villages and other suburban areas to film her new documentary about the ongoing Syrian crisis.
The actress has extended her stay in Syria, which was not to exceed a week before returning back to Cairo.
According to the Middle East news portal, once Raghda has returned to Cairo, she will begin filming another documentary titled “Al Ghurfa 2229” (Room 2229), which depicts the last year and a half of the late legendary Egyptian actor Ahmad Zaki’s life.
During her journey in Syria, Raghda met with many members of the Syrian military, visited grave yards and a number of Syrian villages that have greatly suffered as a result of the crisis.
On her journey, Raghda took pictures of war victims, and mothers and wives of martyrs.
Raghda is known to be a great supporter of Syrian President Bashar Al Assad  and his regime. She is very opposed to the Syrian revolution and describes those part of it as “traitors.”
