At the world’s highest landmark, Burj Khalifa, Rotana group has gathered the most prominent heads and representatives of the regional MBUs, in the presence of Rotana group’s CEO, Mr. Fahed El Suket, the President of Rotana Broadcast, Mr. Turki Al Shabana and the President of RMS, Mr. Nezar Nagro.
This special day that took place at the Armani Hotel, witnessed the presence of many Rotana Channels anchors, along with Arab stars, among others the infamous legend of Arabic cinema Nabila Obeid, Rania Youssof, Aser Yassine, Ayten Amer and others, not to forget the Oscar nominated Saudi Director Haifa Al Mansour.
Mr. Turki Al Shabana, initiated his welcoming speech by thanking his guests for their presence at this significant media event that marks the 10th anniversary of launching the Rotana Channels; the first channel that was initiated in 2003, has grown to become 16 different media entities among which a variety of TV channels, radio stations and a magazine.
Mr. Al Shabana also revealed the rebirth of LBC channel as the first and biggest Arabic TV station totally dedicated to Arab women. He also announced that the first week of December will mark the alteration of Rotana channels to an HD broadcast, and by that adding high quality to a great content, one which is considered as the largest library for Arabic movies, series, programs and music.
The Armani hall was turned into three luxurious theaters, each showcasing the history and content of a number of the many Rotana Channels and Radio, with Rotana anchors presenting the company’s forecasted programs for 2014. The Stars had also a very active and engaging role by testifying to Rotana being the oxygen to a struggling entertainment industry in the region, notably in the movies, drama, programs and music realms.
