Kuwaiti singer Abdullah Rowaished will commemorate the memory of the late Tunisian singer Thikra through a song he had recorded with her before she passed away. Rowaished had traveled to Tunisia to meet with Thikra’s family to get their permission to release the song and include it in his upcoming album, which he intends on releasing during Eid Al Adha season.
According to the London daily Elaph, Rowaished has traveled to studios in Cairo and Kuwait to finished recording the songs on his new album. The new album is in its final stages. Rowaished has worked with a number of poets and composers on his new album like Egyptian composer Walid Saed. Rowaished will be singing a song in the Egyptian dialect for the first.
Rowaished will include songs in his new album that are composed by him alongside a number of other famous composers and poets.
