According to the London daily Elaph, Lebanese singer Rula Sa’ed’s move to Egypt to film her first film “Room 707” was in her favor.
Since her move Rula has become well liked by Egyptian fans. She was a success even before the opening of her film, scheduled for release during the Eid Al Adha season.
Meanwhile fans are calling on Rula to give live concerts in Egypt.
In December Rula will star a new television program geared toward young adolescents. It will be aired on the Egyptian channel “Al Hayah” (Life). Rula said that she was chosen to host the show with other stars. Rula will speak in the Lebanese dialect on the show, but will include some Egyptian terminology. Rula has not wanted to discuss the show at length thus far. It will be aired in February of 2008 and every episode will feature a new guest, including celebrities from the entertainment world.
