Moroccan singer Samira Saeed is preparing to head on a trip to the United States for two weeks with her son Shadi. The trip was organized in order for her son to spend some time with his father, who resides in the US.
After her trip to the US, Saeed will fly off to France to start filming a video clip for her new song “Ya Sater” (Oh Mercy). Samira stated that for the time being her upcoming album will hold the title “Ya Sater”, unless she decides to change it later on.
According to the London daily Elaph, Samira is placing the final touches on the songs for the album. She had previously scheduled to release the album during the summer season, but decided to postpone it till ‘Eid Al Adha’. The new album features 14 different songs, like: “Ana Saket Aho” (I’m Quiet), “Nadmana” (Regret), Itfaraj Ala Nafsak” (Look at yourself) and “Ana Ma’ak” (I’m with you).
Saeed is working with many poets and composers like Ayman Bahjat, Qamar and Ikram Al Assi, Khaled Amin, Amir Taemah, Muhammad Rahim and Amro Mustafa.
On the other hand Saeed refused to make any comments on how the songs from her new album were stolen and downloaded on the Internet. A while back Saeed found out that some of her close friends were part of scheme where they entered her studios and stole a copy of her new album.
