Saudi singer Wa’ed released her latest album called “Ya Ahlahom” (How Beautiful they are) after having worked on it for many months. She cooperated with a number of poets and composers, one of which was the late composer Riyad Al Hamshari.
The late composer composed for her four different songs and they are, “Ma Tfakarshi” (Don’t think about it) and “Anta” (You) that were written by Amir Tiamah. The other two songs are “Ab’ed Ani” (Get away from me) and “Mani Lobah” (I’m not a toy). The last is done in the Khaliji (Gulf) dialect.
According to the London daily Elaph, the song which holds the name of the album is “Ya Mahlahom” and is written by the poet Mansour Al Wawan and composed by Muhammad Bodalih. Wa’ed has already filmed her new song in the form of a video clip. She also made a video clip for the song “Sanam Jamid” (A Stiff Statue) in Bahrain and it will be aired on a number of satellite channels.
