According to the London daily Elaph, the Lebanese artist Sireen Abed Al Noor has agreed to play the female leading role with the actor Mohammad Saed in his new television drama series (Alf Lambi Wa Lambi), to be aired during the upcoming Ramadan season.
Sireen said that she chose this role over several other offers, since she wanted to appear for her Egyptian and Arab fans in a comedy role with Mohammad Saed. Sireen previously played a comedic role in the film (Ramadan Mabrouk Abu Al Almeen Hamoudeh )with the Egyptian comedian Muhammad Hunaidi.
Sireen appeared in the television successful drama series (Al Adham) with the Egyptian actor Amhad Iz last Ramadan. She also starred in a successful Lebanese drama series called (Sarah) which may be continued in a second installment.
Sireen’s new film “Al Musafer” (The Traveler), directed by Ahmad Maher is soon to be released. The film also stars Omar Al Sharif, Khaled Nabawi, Amr Waked, Basmah and Sharif Ramzi. The film has already been screened at international film festivals.
As for her music, Sireen performed live on 4 April in Alexandria at the (Sham Al Naseem) celebration with the Egyptian artist Hamadah Hilal.
