The editing of the documentary film Sonata, Love and Peace produced by the National Center for the Egyptian Plastic Arts has been wrapped up in order to document the events of the 27th session of the National Fair for Plastic Arts, according to the London based Arabic daily al Sharq al Awsat.
Prominent Egyptian plastic artists take part in the fair along with a number of the plastic art young men in Egypt.
Bernard Geo from France, Francois Patrick from Britain and Billy Kamara from the US participated in gearing up for the film. Their efforts focused on shooting, editing and translating the comments on the film into French, English and Sapnish in order to enable international TV channels to screen it.
The 30-minute film in which the prominent Egyptian actress Suhair al Murshidi plays a role, focuses on the works of 73 Egyptian artists participating in the fair. These include Ahmed Nuwwar, head of National Center for Plastic Arts; Omar al Nagdi, Gathibiyyah Sirri, Tahiyyah Halim, Ahmed Fuad Salim, Adel al Siwi and Mohammed A’blah.
