Syrian actress [2] and trained architect, Suzan Najm Aldeen [3], is gambling with her acting career [4] by appearing in three different drama series this Ramadan [5]. Some of these are stirring up quite a commotion already in the viewer social media commentary, which has been a little unkind. She stars in: "Bab Al Khaleq" (Door of the Creator), the controversial "Al Farouq Omar" [6] and "Ayam Al Dirasiyeh" (School Days), in which she plays herself. In the series "Bab Al Khaleq", Suzan [7], also patron of the arts and sports back home in Syria [8], co-stars with classic Egyptian actor Mahmoud Abdel Aziz [9] of whom she effuses: "He enchanted me with his profound performance. He is a great actor with superior standards... Any actor dreams to act alongside someone with his talent and experience. The world is inspired by his performance, I was thrilled to work with him, and I hope I can work with him again". Please share your thoughts on Suzan, or her Ramadan soaps.
