The Egyptian cinema has recently managed to poach the Syrian star Taim Hasan from taking part in a Syrian series. Taim Hasan is scheduled to appear this Ramadan in the Egyptian series “Assaqer Shaheen” (Shaheen the Hawk).
The Egyptian drama was written by Islam Yousef and stars Rania Fareed Shawqi , Sherri Adel, Ahmad Rateb, Ahmad Zaher, Mohammad AbdulHafeth as well as Sawsan Badr , and is directed by Abdulaziz Hashad.
In a phychological thriller style, the series tackles the conflict between good and evil. Here, good does not necessarily triumph over evil. It dares to suggest, controversially, that good can succumb to evil, given of our negative sides. Good can only flourish if people were to remain positive against the odds, and reject any tendency to negative thinking.
It is worth mentioning that the director Abdulaziz Hashad used a real hawk in shooting the scenes that gathered Taim Hasan and the Hawk.
What do you think of the story line? Has it grabbed your attention?
