Egyptian megastar Tamer Hosny announced exclusively for those that were wondering what was next for the "King of Generation " that he was preparing to film his new film. As the film-star singer-success cooks up his first action movie, he is also poised to pop out two music albums.
While the full cast has yet to be finalised and the movie title fixed, the rest is in place to kick off the multi-talented celebrity's new project. Tamer himself wrote the screenplay for a film that marks a departure from his usual romantic comedy CV. Produced by Kareem Al Sabki, directed under the same man behind his 2011 Ramadan television drama “Adam”, Mohammad Sami, the film gives us a chance to see more of Tamer who last appeared on our small-screens for the third sequel of the movie “Umar wa Salma”.
On a musical note, Tamer is resuming work on his ripe-for-release, but forever-delayed, Egyptian album. Tamer had previously intended on releasing his international album, which features duets with world-class non-Egyptian singers, including the likes of Snoop Lion (the artist formerly known as Snoop Dogg) ahead of the Egyptian album, but changed his mind at the last minute.
Any thoughts on Tamer's latest projects - please share.
