Young Egyptian actor Ahmed Al Saqqa has postponed the shooting of his new film Misr America Wabila’ax (Egypt, America and Vice Versa), which was scheduled to be shot in New Jersey.
The delay comes in the wake of the recent terrorist attacks in the US, according to the Arabic daily Al Gomhuria.
The film was scripted by Medhat Al Adel, and directed by Ali Edris in his second work after the film Ashab Wala Business (Friends or Business). Mohammed Al Adel filled the role of producer.
Costarring in Misr America Wabila’ax are Ahmed Al Saqqa, Muna Zaki and Amr Waked.
The film explores the suffering of a young Egyptian man and other Arab expatriates, and the outlook of the West toward them despite their big success.
