Back from crashing at their mentors' houses last week , the X Factor Arabia hopefuls were raring to go for the next live stage of the show. However, they had to battle, not only against each other, but also against the technical errors, to get their voices heard. Egyptian starlet, Yusra al Lawzi , had her first day of presenting and made a mess of it. Fans agreed that the youngster was not nearly as smooth as she should have been. Sexy Lebanese songstress, Elissa , also got herself into hot water when she kept interrupting fellow judge, Carole Samaha. Although some said her timing was just off, others thought the erratic star was doing it deliberately to upset her co-judge. But despite all the drama, two performances really stood out and Adham al Nabulsi from Jordan and Mohammad al Refi from Morocco wowed the judges with their songs. On Friday's show the real back biting began and despite a special guest appearance by big-name, Asala Nasri, all eyes were on which contestant would be eliminated. In the bottom two were Libyan wannabe, Ibrahim, from judge Hussein's team and Tunisian hopeful, Mariam, from judge Elissa's team. At the live sing off it was Ibrahim who impressed the judges more and Mariam was the first contestant to be booted off at the live rounds. Next week promises more drama and more elimations as the remaining hopefuls face-off for a place on the winner's podium.
