We knew that Yousra wanted to change the crazy title of her upcoming Ramadan drama “Inahum La Yakloun Al Kharfoush” (They Don’t Eat Artichoke), which honestly seemed like a pretty good idea to us. What we didn’t know, however, is that she would use a verse of the legendary Warda ’s song "Lawla Al Malama" for the show’s new name. According to Sayidaty.net, the drama directed by Ghada Salim is now titled "Nikadib Law Qulna ma Binhibish" (We Lie if we Say We Don't Love).
The Egyptian actress is being accused of taking advantage of the late Algerian diva ’s success, a matter that show writer Tamer Habib denies. He claims that while both he and Yousra are big fans of Warda, the leading lady and the producing company decided upon the new title based on how it suits the events taking place in the drama.
No other titles offered to Yousra were impressive enough to use for a potential hit show co-starring Mustafa Fahmi, Ward Al Khal and Raja Al Jadawi.
Is Yousra’s title switcheroo taking advantage of Warda or just a smart business move? Share with us your comments below, please.
