Prominent Egyptian actor Yusra is currently shooting scenes for her upcoming film “Ma Tigi Nur’us” (Let Us Dance), an adaptation of the Hollywood production “Lets Dance,” starring Richard Geere and Jennifer Lopez.
Yusra explained that the difference between her film and the American version is that the latter has a male as the leading actor, while the Egyptian version presents her as the leading star.
The script is written by Osama Abdul Thaher and directed by controversial Egyptian director Enas Al Dughaidi. The film also stars Tamer Hajris, Izzat Abu Ouf, Hala Sidqi, and Randa Al Buhairi.
Yusra is also waiting for three of her recent films to be released, “Imarit Ya’qoubain” (Ya’qoubain’s Building) directed by Marwan Hamed, “Kalam Fil Hubb” (Love Talk) directed by Ali Idrees, and “Dam Ghazal” (Deer’s Blood) also starring Mohammad Yasin.
On a different note, Yusra plans on releasing a new album this summer season. The album will feature a new song Yusra sang in her recent television drama “Ahlam Adieh” (Ordinary Dreams), aired during the holy month of Ramadan.
