FinMark Communications, at a press conference held at the Ritz Carlton Hotel, today announced the first Ramadan Business Quiz Show in cooperation with Tamkeen, the event’s title sponsor.
Plans for the quiz, which FinMark expects to become an annual event, were revealed as were a number of early sponsors of the event including Bahrain National Holding (BNH), the leading Bahraini insurance group, as a Gold Sponsor and Design Grafix as the event’s Branding Sponsor.
Present at the press conference were Ms. Zahraa Taher, Managing Director of FinMark Communications, Ms. Hala Sulaiman, Manager – Marketing Communications, Chief Executive’s Office, Tamkeen and Ms. Fatima H. Bahlool, Manager, Corporate Communications at BNH.
Commenting on the occasion, Ms. Taher said: “FinMark Communications is delighted to announce the Tamkeen Business Quiz Show. We have created this event in order to encourage solidarity, team work and constructive engagement between colleagues and among all members of the community and are grateful for the support of Tamkeen, BNH and Design Graphics, who have helped us get this initiative off the ground. We believe the Show provides an ideal platform through which to promote and foster such engagement as well as build and promote awareness of Bahrain’s key industries and sectors, which have long made the Kingdom a preeminent financial and business hub in the region.”

The Tamkeen Business Quiz Show will gather teams of participants from Bahrain’s leading companies and see colleagues from within these organisations join hands in healthy and fun spirited competition against other participating teams and in front of hundreds of viewers who will be watching the event live and following it through television, newspaper and online coverage.
A quiz night will be held once a week during each week of the month of Ramadan and will see four teams from the same industry competing against one another on each of these occasions. The selected industries are Banking, Insurance, Telecommunications and Industrial. By the end of the month, the four winning teams, representing their respective industries, will take part in a final Grand Quiz competition.

And with an event such as this, we can not only bring back the traditional essence of the holy month of Ramadan including simplicity and unity but also have the chance to educate people through the quizzes and the questions asked.”
The Tamkeen Business Quiz Show has already generated significant support and interest from across the community and private and public sector alike. Further details, including information on the venues, dates, patron and other sponsors working closely on this initiative to create positive momentum within the Kingdom and its business community will soon be announced.
