Boosting its ongoing program of strategic expansion, HANCO (Al-Tala’a International Transportation Co.) has teamed-up with Middle East Auto Services (MID) to support its customers during emergency breakdown in any location in Saudi Arabia 24 hours 7 days a week.
The service will start in January 2011 and cover emergency situations such as low battery, fuel back-up and flat tire, together with a towing service and recovery service. A chauffeur service is also offered. A unified number for emergency calls will be announced later.
The HANCO Emergency Breakdown Service follows on from the recent opening of the HANCO Customer Care Center, which is a direct channel with a single unified number 92 000 18 44 to provide an enhanced service for incoming calls for reservations and enquiries. The HANCO Customer Care Center is operated in partnership with Acxiom MENA, the global leader in interactive marketing services, and is open for calls 12 hours a day from 8 am to 8 pm seven days a week Saturday to Friday.

Earlier this year HANCO invested more than SR 130 million ($35 million) in a new fleet that includes brands such as Toyota, Chevrolet, Honda and Hyundai, while other customer-focused plans currently being implemented include expanding the nationwide network and increasing the workforce throughout the company.
