Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam has announced that he will be deducting 10 million Egyptian pounds from his wage to complete the filming of his upcoming television drama “Firqat Naji Attallah. The actor’s wage for playing in the drama is now 20 million instead of 30.
The actor’s step comes after the drama’s fate of not seeing the light due to the overspending of Osama Al Shaikh, who was the former Minister of Information and head of the Egyptian Radio and Television Union that is funding the drama.
The drama revolves around five soldiers lead by a former military general, who decide to rob an Israeli bank. The men travel to Tel Aviv and reside in an apartment close to the bank they will rob.
