Prominent Egyptian comedian actor Adel Imam is preparing for the filming of the first scenes of his upcoming television drama “Firqit Naji Attallah” (Naji Attallah’s band), through which he will enter the Ramadan drama marathon of 2011.
According to the London based Elaph, before filming the scenes of the drama, Adel wanted to make sure that his latest film “Alzheimer”, which began screening in theaters during the recent Muslim holiday Eid Al Adha, was achieving success and profit.
Adel is currently selecting the cast for the new drama with writer of the script Yousif Ma’ati and director Rami Imam, Adel’s son. Three of the cast have already been chosen and they are Amro Ramzi, Mohammad Imam and Nidal Al Shafi’ie.
The drama is said to be a grand project and will be filmed in several Arab countries like Syria and Somalia. The events of the drama will revolve around five young men that rob an Israeli bank.
