George Wassouf honored to support Bashar Al Asad

Prominent Syrian singer George Wassouf has publicly
announced that he fully supports the regime of Syrian President Bashar Al Asad,
considering his support a civil duty.

During a press conference at the Regency Hotel in Amman
Jordan before his concert at the annual Jarash Festival, George responded to
the conditions in Syria as being in support of Al Asad and he considers it an
honor. With regards to negative criticism over his position, George stressed
that such criticism is meaningless to him.

About the return of the Jordanian Jarash Festival, George
stated that he is very happy the festival returned this year and considers it
as an important aspect of Jordanian art and culture.
