Mohammad Abdo returns home to Jeddah

Prominent Saudi singer Mohammad
Abdo has returned home to Saudi Arabia after being in France for over three
months for medical treatment.

Upon his arrival to Jeddah
Airport, a large crowd of family members, friends and fans were waiting for the
singer to land safely. Among those present were his son Badr, Saudi singers
Abadi al Jawhar, Rabih Saqr, Abid Al Biladi and many more.

In addition, a number of
representatives from different news agencies were present to document the
event. A celebration was held at the airport with a traditional Saudi music
band.

According to the London based
Elaph, once the singer was amidst the crowd of people he gave a short speech
thanking Prince Al Waleed Bin Talal for covering all his medical expenses, and
thanked everyone that asked about him while in France and wished him a speedy
recovery.

With regards to circulating rumors
of his marriage to a French woman of Algerian origin, Mohammad confirmed the
rumor and said that the young woman he married had arrived to Saudi shortly
before he did and that she was a Muslim woman.
