Lebanese singer Najwa Karam has expressed her love for Syria and its people and considers them to have mutual points of view. She added during a phone interview with the Syrian National television station that Syrian people will never be at odds with one another simply because they all share one common goal and that is love for their country.
According to the London based Elaph, Najwa asserted that Lebanon’s stability is tied to Syria’s stability because they are one. She added that she hopes relations between the two countries remain stable because Lebanon and Syria are more to one another then neighboring countries.
On a different note, Najwa’s new album is scheduled for release in mid-April. The new album will feature eight songs and is produced by the company ‘Rotana’. Najwa worked with a number of prominent poets and composers like Nizar Francis, Saleem Assaf, Hussein Ismael, Murees Taweelah, Ruwad Raed, Wisam Al Ameer, George Mardusyan, Saleem Assaf and Tony Anqah.
