Lebanese singer Rami Ayash denied recent circulating rumors
that he has turned to Buddhism and was trying to convince a resigned actress to
change her religion to Buddhism as well. Rami stressed that he is proud to be a
Druze and believes that there is only one God.

According to the internet website MBC.net, Rami said in a
press release that he was shocked with the rumors published in the Lebanese
magazine “Nadine” stating that he has turned to Buddhism and was trying to convince
a resigned actress to do the same. The magazine had also published that Rami
had insulted his religion by revealing untrue facts.
Rami stressed that he was raised on specific religious
beliefs that call for love, forgiveness, honesty and doing good to others. He added
that he always tries to implement the teachings of his religion in his everyday
life and work in order not to act in a way that is considered unethical.
The magazine had also stated that the resigned actress accused
Rami of trying to convince her to turn to Buddhism, but she had refused to do
so.
