Mahmoudia Motors, one of the leading automotive groups for premium car brands in Jordan, announced the three winners of the Let’s Play! – Volvo S60 online competition, which was launched in Jordan and across the Middle East at http://www.letsplays60.com  as part of the launch of the stunning all-new Volvo S60.
The exclusive digital campaign for the Volvo S60 invited customers in Jordan to participate in an online pinball game for the opportunity to win a variety of top class prizes. The top three scorers included first place winner Tambi Jalouqa who received a night stay for two at a five star resort at the Dead Sea with a Volvo S60, the second winner, Kayed Qunibi, received an iphone and the third winner, Mohammed Abukhudair was rewarded with a day at Petra with a Volvo S60.
Jalouqa commented on his win by saying, “I would like to thank Mahmoudia Motors for giving me the chance to participate in such a fun digital competition. I can’t wait until the day I get to drive the Volvo S60 and enjoy the beach.”

The all-new Volvo S60 had its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show on the 2nd March and arrived in the Middle East markets, including Jordan, in October 2010. It makes its entry into one of the automotive world’s toughest segments backed by an extrovert attitude never before seen in Volvo showrooms.

The first-generation Volvo S60 was launched in 2000. It soon became Volvo Cars’ most popular model, enjoying worldwide acclaim and peak sales of 110,000 cars in 2002. In total, there are about 600,000 S60s on the world’s roads today.
The number ‘60’ in the Volvo model range nowadays indicates their sportiest models. The XC60 was the first step. With the all-new S60, Volvo has launched its sportiest and most daring car model yet, inspired by what Volvo’s design team calls the “racetrack” design that is apparent in the uninterrupted and continuous flow of the car’s lines incorporated in both the interior and exterior of the car.
The all-new Volvo S60 is also packed with the latest high-tech solutions that actively help the driver avoid accidents. The Pedestrian Detection with full auto brake is a world first. To Volvo Cars’ knowledge there is no other car manufacturer that offers a feature that can avoid a collision with a pedestrian. This radar- and camera-based system can detect pedestrians in front of the car, warn if anyone walks out into its path – and then automatically activate the car’s full braking power if the driver fails to respond in time.
