Israeli air raids hit two towns in the Gaza Strip on Friday, injuring five people, the Israeli army and Palestinian medical sources reported. "Four people with moderate injuries arrived at Shuhada al-Aqsa hospital after an air raid that targeted a home in Deir al-Balah," said Adham Abu Selmiya, spokesman for the medical services in Gaza told AFP. According to him, one of those injured in the strike on the central Gaza town was a woman.
Another separate air strike in the southern town of Khan Yunis injured one other person, Abu Selmiya added.
The Israeli army stated it attacked "terror sites." The Israeli army said Palestinians had fired earlier 10 mortars and a military-grade rocket into southern Israel.
