Manchester United youngster Adnan Januzaj has made leaps and bounds with is talents and shown great promise for the future with the Red Devils in a campaign where his performances have been one of the few great things to witness this season.
The young Belgian winger has made comments that his goal is to be the next Cristiano Ronaldo for United as he spends hours studying the Real Madrid star and former United game changer:
"I watch Cristiano a lot and try to do the same things that he does.
He is a very good player. I always look at him and watch his games as well and try to do what he is doing and remember what he did at Manchester United.
I have to work hard in the gym like he did because, when he came here, he wasn't strong.
But after a year or so he became really strong and could push people away. I'm getting a bit stronger now due to the gym work..
My first goal came on tour and it was a header.
If I have to move to head the ball I will go for it. I'm not afraid to do it. You have to have everything to be a complete player. If you look at Cristiano, lots of his goals are headers. He just jumps so high and seems to hang in the air."
It is certain that there is a lot of ground to be covered between now and when Januzaj can be compared to Ronaldo, but there is great signs of a future with Januzaj as hard working young players are hard to find and he is certain to be a big part of Manchester United's future in the coming years.
