The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD), the Number One Bank in the UAE, has won three awards at the fifth GCC Regulators’ Summit.
The Summit named John Garret, the General Manager and Group Chief Compliance Officer at NBAD, the Most Recognised International Compliance Officer of the Year. It also recognised Columcille O'Donnell, the Head of Group Compliance at NBAD, the Compliance Officer of the Year. Moreover, NBAD was recognised for Effective Implementation of Compliance Training.

The Summit praised NBAD for its strong compliance philosophy and for making it an integral part of NBAD’s approach in dealing with customers.

It was recognised that the NBAD Academy, the Bank’s dedicated training facility, has contributed successfully to the effective training of the NBAD staff in implementing compliance practices.
