EQUATE Petrochemical Company is participating in the world’s biggest plastics event, the International Trade Fair for Plastics and Rubber (K 2010) in Germany, as the only representative of Kuwait’s industrial sector.
Regarding this event, EQUATE Polyethylene Business Director Muayad Al-Faresi said, “As EQUATE’s products form over 80% of Kuwait’s non-oil exports, our participation in K 2010 stems from the desire to showcase our role in overall national sustainability, as well as being an international market player in the Middle East, Europe, Asia and Africa.”
Al-Faresi added, “Such an event is a great opportunity for EQUATE to showcase its products, as well as extend its collaboration and cooperation with all relevant stakeholders, especially customers and other petrochemical companies.”
Al-Faresi noted, “EQUATE is not merely a petrochemical producer, we are a well-rounded organization that delivers the highest quality of world class products, distinguished customer service, and end-to-end integrated supply chain that is orchestrated by a customer centric organization”
Along with Al-Faresi, several members of EQUATE’s senior management and leaders are attending K Show 2010 where EQUATE has an exhibit stand welcoming the event’s visitors from close to 60 countries from October 27 to November 3 in Dusseldorf, Germany. The event aims to attract over 200,000 visitors over its course.
Established in 1995, EQUATE is an international joint venture between Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC), The Dow Chemical Company (Dow), Boubyan Petrochemical Company (BPC) and Qurain Petrochemical Industries Company (QPIC). Commencing production in 1997, EQUATE is the single operator of a fully integrated world-scale manufacturing facility producing over 5 million tons annually of high-quality petrochemical products which are marketed throughout the Middle East, Asia, Africa and Europe.
