Gulf Bank has announced the launch of an updated Online HR assessment and development system that is aimed at improving the bank's human resources, recruitment and development processes. The new system, which was acquired from SHL, the world's leading talent assessment solutions provider, will enable senior HR executives to efficiently manage the system and provide effective and prompt feedback.
The new online HR assessment and development system will help Gulf Bank Leaders identify key skills areas requiring further training and development amongst existing employees. It will also assess potential candidates on various competencies using a number of assessment tools including personality questionnaires, verbal, numerical and management assessments.
Omar Al-Bassam, Executive Manager of Learning & Talent Development at Gulf Bank said: "A well designed competency framework is a key link between the skills, attitudes and attributes required by the individual and the tasks required by the job. Taking time to identify these competencies can save you time and money by helping you recruit the right people for the job and ensure existing staff are working in the areas of your business where they can be most effective.
This new online system will help improve the speed and quality of our assessment and development tools. The program will be able to proficiently assess a large number of individuals automatically integrating the results within the program. This will provide a platform for HR executives to make well informed decisions about hiring and developing new candidates."
