Iran's Foreign Minister Kamal Kharrazi said Tuesday that his country has the capacity to supply nuclear fuel to global markets.
Talking to reporters at the end of the 14th international conference of the Persian Gulf, Kharrazi said some thought, "We already posses ready fuel".
"This is our legitimate right and my remark was a reaction to the recent speech by George W. Bush, saying only specific countries have the right to produce nuclear technology," Kharrazi said, according to IRIB website.
He noted that possessing peaceful nuclear technology is Iran's legitimate right, adding "We insist on our right and no one can deprive us from that."
Asked about uranium enrichment centrifuge devices which has been said that diplomats of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have also been informed of, Iran's top diplomat said some try to fuss over certain issues.
Working on the new centrifuge device, P-2, is just a research project by Iran to access the modern know-how of the devices, the minister added.
"It is untrue that Iran has produced centrifuge devices. Research has been carried out in this regard which the IAEA has been informed of," Kharrazi conveyed.
"A country which tries to get access to an industry, utilizes new models and modern technology and we had informed IAEA experts of the issue," he added.
